Multivitamins and mineral complexes: how much of each vitamin and mineral the daily dose holds and the % of the reference intake.

Multivitamins

A multivitamin combines vitamins and minerals in one tablet, capsule or powder serving. Complexes differ in which substances they hold, the doses and the number of tablets a day: some give about 100 % of the reference intake, others several times that for particular vitamins.

Check the composition table: each substance's dose and % of the reference intake. If you take single vitamins or minerals, make sure they do not double up. Claims are shown for each substance whose dose is enough.
