Omega-3 & fish oil
What matters in omega-3 is not the weight of oil in the capsule but the amount of EPA and DHA. Ordinary fish oil holds about 300 mg per 1000 mg of oil, concentrates up to 900 mg. Krill oil gives less EPA and DHA per capsule; algal oil suits vegans.
The EU-authorised claims about the heart (250 mg EPA and DHA a day), brain and vision (250 mg DHA a day) show only on products that provide that dose. Compare the price per 1 g of EPA+DHA.
