The SmartShake Chalk Block Box is a hard plastic case whose lid closes with three snap latches. Wavy foam in the lid and flat foam in the base hold the block under light pressure, so it neither rattles nor crumbles, even as it gets smaller with use.
This is the rust orange box with the Bench Press artwork. The same box comes in three colours, each with its own lift on the lid: Deadlift, Squat and Bench Press. The chalk block is not included.

Usage
Use and care
Put the block on the foam in the base and close all three latches. Brush the dust off the rim before closing, so the lid seals properly. Wipe the box with a damp cloth; the foam can be taken out and shaken clean. Not dishwasher safe.
Frequently asked questions
Is a chalk block included?
No. The box is sold empty; the block is bought separately.
What size block fits?
One standard 56 g (2 oz) block. A bigger block has to be broken in half first.
Does dust get out?
Not with the lid closed: the three latches press the lid onto the rim and the foam keeps the block from moving.
How do the colours differ?
Only in colour and the artwork on the lid. Size and inserts are the same on all three.
Can the foam be replaced?
The foam sits loose in the box; it can be taken out for cleaning or replaced with a piece of foam cut to size.
