NOW Foods Super Enzymes is a food supplement in tablet form. Each tablet contains three enzymes, amylase, protease and lipase, plus bromelain from pineapple, papain from papaya, cellulase and pepsin. The formula also includes betaine HCl, ox bile extract and papaya fruit powder.
The pack holds 180 tablets. One tablet is one serving, taken with a meal.
- Several enzymes in one tablet
Each tablet provides amylase (20000 USP Units), protease (20000 USP Units) and lipase (1600 USP Units), along with cellulase, pepsin, bromelain and papain.
- Enzymes from fruit sources
Bromelain comes from pineapple and papain from papaya. The formula also includes papaya fruit powder (45 mg).
- Betaine HCl and ox bile extract added
One tablet contains 200 mg of betaine HCl and 100 mg of ox bile extract with a minimum of 45% total cholic acids.

Each tablet contains: calcium (from calcium carbonate) 20 mg, betaine HCl 200 mg, ox bile extract 100 mg (min. 45% total cholic acids), papaya fruit powder 45 mg, amylase 20000 USP Units, protease 20000 USP Units, lipase 1600 USP Units, bromelain (from pineapple) 120 GDU, papain (from papaya) 100000 FCC PU, cellulase 10 FCC CU and pepsin 500000 FCC Pepsin Units. Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, pharmaceutical glaze, silicon dioxide, stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and croscarmellose sodium.
