NOW Foods Chitosan, 500mg Plus Chromium is a food supplement in cellulose capsules, 120 capsules per pack. Three capsules, one serving, provide 1500 mg of chitosan (LipoSan ULTRA®) and 300 µg of chromium.
The chitosan is derived from crustacean shells. The chromium is in the form of chromium nicotinate glycinate (Albion™). One pack holds 40 servings.
- LipoSan ULTRA® chitosan
One serving (3 capsules) contains 1500 mg of chitosan under the LipoSan ULTRA® brand.
- Chromium in Albion™ form
The chromium comes as chromium nicotinate glycinate, 300 µg per serving.
- Cellulose capsule
The capsule shell is hypromellose (cellulose). The other ingredients are stearic acid from a vegetable source and silicon dioxide.

Usage
Take 3 capsules immediately before the two main meals of the day. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day. Use together with a sensible diet and exercise programme. Take at least 4 hours before or after fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) or medications.
