Life Extension MacuGuard Ocular Support with Saffron is a food supplement in softgel form. Each softgel contains 173 mg of the MacuGuard® proprietary blend, made up of lutein, meso-zeaxanthin, trans-zeaxanthin and α-carotene.
Each serving also provides 20 mg of saffron extract (stigma) and 2.2 mg of C3G (cyanidin-3-glucoside). The pack holds 60 softgels.
- Carotenoid blend
A serving contains 10 mg of lutein, 4 mg of meso-zeaxanthin and 1.24 mg of α-carotene, together with trans-zeaxanthin.
- Saffron extract
Each softgel contains 20 mg of saffron extract, taken from the stigma of the flower.
- C3G
The formula includes 2.2 mg of C3G, or cyanidin-3-glucoside, a berry-derived flavonoid.
