Nordic Naturals Women's Multivitamin Extra Strength is a food supplement for women. It combines vitamins, minerals and two herbal ingredients: KSM-66® ashwagandha root extract and ginger extract. The pack holds 60 tablets.
Most vitamins come in active forms, such as methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), 5-MTHF folate (Quatrefolic®) and menaquinone-7 (vitamin K2). The minerals, including iron and zinc, are chelated.
- Ashwagandha and ginger
Two tablets contain 216 mg of KSM-66® ashwagandha root extract and 100 mg of ginger extract.
- Active vitamin forms
The formula uses methylcobalamin, pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), riboflavin-5'-phosphate, 5-MTHF folate and menaquinone-7.
- Chelated minerals
Iron is Ferrochel® ferrous bisglycinate chelate (16 mg) and zinc is zinc bisglycinate chelate (16 mg) per serving. Selenium, manganese, chromium and molybdenum are also glycinate-based.
- Broad composition
Besides the familiar vitamins and minerals, each serving has choline (130 mg), boron (0.5 mg) and vanadium (20 µg).
