NOW Foods Gastro Comfort with PepZin GI is a food supplement in capsules, with 60 capsules per pack. Each capsule contains 37.5 mg of PepZin GI™ (zinc-L-carnosine complex), which provides 5 mg of zinc.
The formula also includes 50 mg of mastic gum powder, 50 mg of organic aloe vera inner leaf (200:1) and 100 mg of slippery elm bark (Ulmus rubra). The capsule shell is cellulose.
- Zinc-carnosine complex
PepZin GI™ is a complex of zinc and carnosine. Each capsule has 37.5 mg of the complex, providing 5 mg of zinc.
- Three plant ingredients
The formula adds mastic gum powder (50 mg), organic aloe vera inner leaf (50 mg, 200:1) and slippery elm bark (100 mg).
- Cellulose capsule
The shell is made from hypromellose, a cellulose. Other ingredients are rice flour, vegetable-source stearic acid and silicon dioxide.
- Made without common allergen ingredients
Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients.

Each capsule contains: zinc (from PepZin GI™) 5 mg, PepZin GI™ (zinc-L-carnosine complex) 37.5 mg, mastic gum powder (Pistacia lentiscus, sap) 50 mg, organic aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis, inner leaf, 200:1) 50 mg and slippery elm (Ulmus rubra, bark) 100 mg. Other ingredients: rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.
