Osavi Super Omega 3-9-11 is a food supplement in softgel form. The capsule contains fish oil from pelagic fish, including herring and mackerel from the North Atlantic. The oil is produced in Norway by molecular distillation and follows the GOED monograph.
Each capsule provides 1000 mg of oil. It contains 300 mg of omega-3 acids (50 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA), 90 mg of omega-9 as gondoic acid and 300 mg of omega-11 as cetoleic acid. The pack holds 120 softgels.
- EPA and DHA in one capsule
Each capsule has 50 mg of EPA and 200 mg of DHA, 250 mg in total. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart.
- Omega-9 and omega-11 included
Besides omega-3, the oil provides gondoic acid (90 mg, omega-9) and cetoleic acid (300 mg, omega-11). Both are long-chain monounsaturated fatty acids.
