NOW Foods Ocu Support Clinical Strength is a food supplement that combines lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamins, minerals and plant extracts in one serving of 3 capsules. The lutein and zeaxanthin come from marigold flower extract (FloraGLO®).
The formula also contains bilberry extract, ginkgo biloba extract, grape seed extract, green tea extract, alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, glutathione and N-acetyl cysteine. The pack holds 90 vegetable capsules.
- Lutein and zeaxanthin
Each serving has 10 mg of lutein and 500 µg of zeaxanthin, both from marigold flower extract (FloraGLO®).
- Vitamins and minerals
A serving provides vitamin A (as beta-carotene) 3000 µg, vitamin C 250 mg, vitamin E 67 mg, riboflavin 15 mg, vitamin B6 10 mg and vitamin B12 100 µg. The minerals are zinc 7.5 mg, selenium 50 µg and chromium 50 µg.
- Plant extracts
The formula includes citrus bioflavonoid complex 100 mg, rutin 100 mg, green tea extract 50 mg, bilberry extract 25 mg, grape seed extract 25 mg and ginkgo biloba extract 20 mg.
- Vegetable capsules
The capsule shell is made from hypromellose (cellulose capsule). Other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.
