NOW Foods Cal-Mag Caps is a food supplement containing calcium and magnesium together with vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), zinc, copper and manganese. The pack holds 120 capsules.
A serving is 1 capsule. It provides 250 mg of calcium, 125 mg of magnesium and 25 mg of concentrated trace minerals. Calcium and magnesium each come from three different sources.
- Three sources of calcium and magnesium
Calcium comes from carbonate (80%), citrate (10%) and malate (10%). Magnesium comes from oxide (80%), citrate (10%) and malate (10%).
- Zinc, copper and manganese
Each serving has 3.75 mg of zinc as zinc monomethionine, 0.25 mg of copper and 1.25 mg of manganese. Copper and manganese are amino acid chelates.
- Vitamin D3 in the same capsule
One capsule contains 6.25 µg of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), so no separate vitamin D product is needed for that ingredient.
- One capsule a day
The dose is 1 capsule daily with food, so there is only one intake to remember.
