OstroVit Carbo is a carbohydrate-based food supplement in powder form. The carbohydrates come from maltodextrin and dextrose. The blend also contains potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B6, AAKG and beta-alanine.
It comes in four flavours: Cherry, Lemon, Orange and Watermelon. The composition and the amounts per serving are the same in all of them. The 1000 g pack contains 20 servings.
- 43 g of carbohydrates per serving
One 50 g serving contains 43 g of carbohydrates, of which sugars 14 g. Energy is 171 kcal per serving. The serving contains no protein or fat.
- Maltodextrin and dextrose
The carbohydrates come from maltodextrin, made by enzymatic hydrolysis of starch, and dextrose, a form of glucose.
- Added minerals and vitamins
Each serving provides 300 mg of potassium, 285 mg of sodium, 160 mg of calcium, 75 mg of magnesium, 80 mg of vitamin C and 1.4 mg of vitamin B6.
- AAKG and beta-alanine
A serving also contains 200 mg of AAKG (L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate) and 200 mg of beta-alanine.
- Mixes with water
The powder is stirred into water and needs no other ingredients. One serving is three scoops.

Per 100 g: 341 kcal, 85 g of carbohydrates and 27 g of sugars.
