NOW Foods Prenatal Gels + DHA is a vitamin and mineral food supplement in softgels. It is made for pregnant women and women in their child-bearing years. Besides vitamins and minerals, it contains borage oil (GLA).
A serving is 3 softgels and provides 250 mg DHA and 90 mg EPA. The pack holds 180 softgels, which is 60 servings.
- DHA and EPA from fish oil
Each serving contains 500 mg fish oil concentrate, of which 250 mg is DHA and 90 mg is EPA.
- Folate in methylated form
Folate comes as L-5-MTHF calcium salt, 600 µg per serving. Vitamin B12 is methylcobalamin, 120 µg.
- Iron and other minerals as bisglycinates
Iron (27 mg) is ferrous bisglycinate and zinc (15 mg) is zinc bisglycinate. Copper and manganese are also bisglycinates.
- A broad range of vitamins and minerals
The formula covers vitamins A, C, D, E, K and the B group, plus calcium (400 mg), magnesium (200 mg), iodine (150 µg), selenium, chromium and molybdenum.
- Lutein and lycopene included
A serving has 500 µg lutein from marigold flower extract and 350 µg lycopene from tomato extract, along with choline and inositol.
